Meet our Pug of the Month: Digby

His owner writes:

My Pugs name is Digby. He is only 6 months old, and he was born in and lives in England with me and my boyfriend.

He loves playing with our cats and racing around them in circles. He has a small paddling pool which he loves splashing around in and loves going to the beach, in fact he even loves being bathed! He loves his long evening walks and car rides, but likes nothing better than to snuggle up on the bed with his mum and dad! He loves to be near people all the time and sitting on people feet.

He doesn't like to eat apple for some reason, and he doesn't like the washing that you want to hang on the line! And he doesn't like going down all the stairs in the morning for breakfast when he's just woken up (so we give in and carry him then!).

I think Digby should be Pugmate of the Month because he's the first dog we have ever owned together, and we couldn't have asked for anymore; he's perfect. He makes me smile every single morning, even when at 7am I wake up to feed him and i'm dead tired, as soon as I see his happy face and curly tail wagging I know he's worth every second of it. He keeps me company when everyone else is out, but doesn't mind when I want to go out, and is as excited to see me every time I come home.

He's so clever, sitting, fetching, waiting, coming and lifting his paw at just 6 months old! I feel like i've had him forever and can't remember life without him now, and I am so happy that we still have so many years left of him. I am so proud that he is my dog, and I love him to bits. We couldn't have asked for more. Digby is my handsome little angel!
